ABOUT STEVEN:

Steven Boodoo is a trusted mortgage professional and the Lead Broker at EDM Mortgage Group, operating under Mortgage Architects. With over 15 years of experience in financial services, Steven brings deep industry knowledge, strategic insight, and a client-first mindset to every mortgage he structures.

Before entering the broker channel, Steven spent 11 years with TD Bank, where he held progressive roles as a Financial Advisor, Small Business Advisor, and later as a top-performing Mortgage Specialist. Throughout his banking career, Steven consistently achieved Champions Club status and earned respected financial designations including CFSA and PFP—demonstrating both performance excellence and a strong technical foundation.

In 2020, Steven made the transition to Mortgage Architects to provide clients with greater flexibility, more lending options, and truly independent advice. Today, he is a key leader within the highly awarded Tara Borle Mortgage Team, supporting clients across a wide range of residential and complex financing needs.

Beyond mortgage expertise, Steven is deeply committed to community impact and leadership. He serves as the team’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Leader and is an active advocate for inclusive practices within the mortgage industry. He also works closely with community initiatives such as Edmonton’s Food Bank and is a strong supporter of Pride and equity-focused organizations.
